Idle Web Tycoon (Kongregate): a slightly better versioin than the one on Silver Games

Idle Web Tycoon (via Kongregate)

I’m guessing that this is the “??? COMING SOON” that Silver Games never had the time to put on their site. Anyway, for the most part, the Idle Web Tycoon game hosted on both Silver Games and Kongregate are the same. The central difference is that this version has a conquer-the-world feature at the end where you will eventually have the option to enslave the globe and force every citizen of every continent to click on your website, cool right?

So despite minutes if not hours of mindless clicking that you will be doing to get to this point in the game, you might just find yourself curious (if not bored) enough to just get on with it and finish the damn game.

Idle Web Tycoon (Silver Games): a game for the truly bored

Idle Web Tycoon (via Silver Games)

I wish I could say that the title says it all, but it truly does not. But to be fair, each of those three words Idle, Web, and Tycoon, do have reasonably strong individual impacts on the gameplay.

Idle:

You will see one small screen, and that’s practically all to it. Some stuff like computers or servers might pop up when you purchase upgrades, but there’s nothing left to it other than that.

Web:

In the game, you will own your own website, you can name it, put ‘ads’ in it, improve your accessibility, and perhaps even change the theme of your site if you’d like.

Tycoon:

The main objective as a site owner is to make as much money from your site in as little time as possible. The game doesn’t have to end so you can enjoy watching your money pile up (although you’ll probably get bored of playing pretty soon).

Is this game highly recommended for all the avid gamers out there? Heck no, but if you’re simply curious, or are just so bored that you’d do anything that might have any resemblance to fun, then Idle Web Tycoon may be suited for you.

The Campaign Trail: alternative facts in action

The Campaign Trail

To be honest, the image pretty much says it all:

“Do you have what it takes to win a presidential election?
·         Select a year and candidate to find out
·         You will answer questions about your platform and positions, and also about your campaign strategy
·         The answers will affect your popularity for better or worse, both nationally and in individual states
·         Walk the fine line between appealing to your base and winning a majority of the votes”

In conclusion, this game is incredibly enjoyable as you have the chance to play with history and immediately see the consequences of your enacted changes. As we are in the era of “Alternative Facts”, this game is simply splendid.
